The Wall will be escorted in by the Ohio and National chapters of Rolling Thunder and the American Legion Riders on Wednesday May 28th. At 7:00pm speaker and author Jan Scruggs (a decorated Vietnam veteran, recipient of the Purple Heart and man behind the idea to create a national memorial honoring those who died will speak at 7:00pm at O.J. Work Auditorium (Sponsered by the Friends of Wadsworth Public Library) The Wall will open Friday May 30th at 10:00am and stay open 24 hrs until June 2nd. It is a half scale replica of the Memorial in Washington DC with all 58249 names listed. A computerized area will be open to assist in finding names. A 53' trailer will house a museum. Wadsworth is the only City in Ohio to host the Wall in 2008.
